Borehole drilling with
clear scope and proper testing

Site survey before mobilisation. Full casing and gravel pack. Test pumping on every borehole. Written handover document.

  • Written scope and quote before any mobilisation — no surprises on the bill.
  • Every borehole is flushed, developed, and test-pumped before handover.
  • After-sales support: pump faults, servicing, and water quality follow-ups.
Note: Depth and water yield depend on local geology, which varies across Lagos. We cannot guarantee a specific yield before drilling. Our site survey helps estimate likely depth and reduces risk — but drilling always carries some uncertainty. We explain this clearly before you commit.

What we do

Services

New drilling, rehabilitation, pump work, and water storage. Each job quoted after a proper site assessment.

New Borehole Drilling

Site survey, drilling to required depth, steel or PVC casing, gravel pack, and development. Scope confirmed in writing before we start.

Borehole Rehabilitation

Old or low-yield borehole? We diagnose, flush, develop, and restore. Camera inspection available. Pump replacement included if needed.

Discuss rehabilitation

Pump Supply & Installation

Submersible or surface pump, correctly sized for your borehole depth and demand. Wiring, panel, and pressure testing included.

Storage Tank Setup

Overhead tank, ground-level reservoir, or both — with piping, valve fittings, and overflow protection. Connected to your pump system.

Discuss tank setup

Water Treatment & Filtration

Iron removal filters, sediment filters, UV treatment, and water quality testing. Recommended where water test shows elevated parameters.

How we work

The drilling process, step by step

Six defined stages. No shortcuts on casing, no skipping test pumping. You know what's happening at each stage before we move to the next.

Site Survey

We visit the site to assess geology, access constraints, proximity to septic systems, and expected depth range. This determines your quote.

Drilling

We mobilise the rig and drill to the agreed scope depth. Formation samples are observed throughout. Depth may be adjusted if geology requires.

Casing & Gravel Pack

Steel or high-grade PVC casing is installed and grouted at surface. A gravel pack around the screen section prevents sand ingress.

Borehole Flushing

The borehole is flushed thoroughly to remove drilling fluid and fine particles before any pump installation begins.

Test Pumping

A test pump is run to measure yield and observe water recovery. Results inform pump selection and confirm whether water treatment is needed.

Pump Installation

Permanent pump installed, wired, and pressure-tested. We walk you through operation and provide a written handover document.

Scope clarity

What's included — and what isn't

Borehole projects sometimes go over budget because the scope wasn't clear at the start. We put everything in writing before we mobilise.

Standard scope — included
  • Site survey and written quote before mobilisation
  • Drilling to quoted scope depth
  • Steel or PVC casing (type specified in quote)
  • Gravel pack and surface grouting
  • Borehole flushing and development
  • Test pumping with basic yield observation
  • Final site clean-up and soil reinstatement
  • Written handover document
What may change the quote
  • Geology varies — harder rock or unexpected formations may increase drilling time
  • Required depth may increase if water-bearing zone is deeper than expected
  • If site access requires special rig configuration, mobilisation cost may differ
  • Water quality test results may indicate need for filtration (quoted separately)
Not included unless quoted separately
  • Permanent pump supply and installation (unless quoted)
  • Overhead tank or storage (unless quoted)
  • Electrical wiring and switchgear beyond pump panel
  • Water treatment / filtration systems
  • Permits or government approvals (we advise; client arranges)
  • Repairs to existing plumbing

Every job gets a written scope before mobilisation. No verbal agreements on cost.

Equipment

What we use on site

Professional-grade rig and materials on every job. No improvised casing, no skipping gravel pack to cut corners.

Ask about your site
  • Rotary or DTH (down-the-hole hammer) drilling rig
  • Steel and UPVC casing materials (BS/ISO rated)
  • Bridge-slot or wire-wound screens
  • Gravel pack aggregate (washed and graded)
  • Air compressor for air-flush development
  • Submersible test pump + flow measurement equipment
  • Water quality test kit (basic field test)
  • GPS and depth measurement tools
Our rig requires clear access of approximately 3–4 metres width. We assess access during site survey and advise accordingly. Safety barriers are set up around the drill site during operation.
Customer reviews

What our customers say

Homeowners, property developers, and businesses across Lagos.

"They came to survey before quoting anything. The quote was detailed — every line item explained. Drilling took two days, test pumping done properly, and I got a written handover. That's how it should be done."

Engr. Olawale T.
Lekki Phase 1

"My old borehole had almost stopped yielding. DeepWell came, diagnosed a silted screen, rehabilitated it, and installed a new pump. Water is strong again. Honest people."

Mrs. Adaobi N.
Gbagada

"Three drillers quoted me. Two gave me prices without seeing my site. DeepWell did the survey, explained that my area had harder rock, and gave a fair range. No surprises during drilling."

Mr. Segun F.
Ajah

"We needed reliable water for our clinic. The team worked on a weekend to minimise disruption. Pump has been running cleanly for eight months."

Common questions

Honest answers

No responsible driller can guarantee this before drilling. Water-bearing zones depend on local geology, which varies across Lagos. Depth can range from 30m to 100m+ depending on your area. A site survey helps estimate likely depth and reduces risk — but drilling always carries some uncertainty. We explain this clearly and honestly before you commit to anything.
Site survey: 1 day. Quote preparation: 1–3 days. Drilling (once mobilised): 1–4 days depending on depth and geology. Pump installation (if included): 1 day. Total from survey to running water is typically 1–2 weeks, sometimes less.
The casing prevents the borehole walls from collapsing and keeps surface contaminants out of your water. Steel casing is standard for deeper or harder rock applications. High-grade PVC is used in softer formations. Cutting corners on casing quality leads to borehole failure within a few years — we use rated materials and specify exactly what's being used in the written quote.
Pump selection depends on: borehole depth, test pump yield, static water level, distance to overhead tank, and your daily demand. We select the pump after test pumping results are observed — not before drilling. We will not overspecify to inflate the bill.
Yes. Pumps have manufacturer-recommended service intervals (typically annual). Borehole flushing every 3–5 years helps maintain yield. If water quality changes — smell, colour, iron taste — a water quality test is the first step. We offer maintenance calls and can advise if your existing system needs attention.
We typically take a deposit before mobilisation and the balance on or before commissioning. Payment structure is stated clearly in the written scope before work begins. We do not begin drilling before the terms are agreed in writing.
